The club has been informed by the BAA we have received three Invitational Entries (aka waivers) for the 2024 Boston Marathon.
I know many of you are anxious to apply for one of those three waivers. You can do so by completing this form:

Please note:
- You must be a current GLRR member in good standing for this year and next year (i.e. dues paid through 2024)
- You must reside in the Greater Lowell area (per the BAA)
- Waivers are awarded largely based on volunteering for the club during the year. The more you volunteer, the greater your probability of getting one.
- Each request will be anonymously reviewed by a panel; the panel assigns a score which is based solely upon what is entered in the request. Do not assume they know you or what you’ve accomplished.
- The highest scores will receive the waivers.
- If you have received a club waiver in the last two years, then please do not submit an application at this time.
- If you are awarded a waiver, and accept it, you are expected to represent the Greater Lowell Road Runners on race day and wear GLRR club apparel.
The deadline for submitting applications is Friday December 1st. The waiver selections will be announced at the “GLRR Christmas Eve” group run on December 23rd.
