GLRR is proud to announce the 2024 Angry Chicken Race Series.
Race dates are on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm, June 11 to August 13. No races on July 2nd nor July 30.
Race distance is 2.62 miles – a tenth of a marathon! – with runners going counter-clockwise (against traffic) on the loop portion of the course.
The race begins and ends at the S-curve entrance to the Riverwalk at the end of River Place, near the Tsongas Center.
Bib pick-up is on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 6:45PM at Marx Running and Fitness, 118 Merrimack Street in downtown Lowell.
Cost is $10 per race when registering online – $70 if you register for the whole series. Otherwise, it’s $10 for individual races.
Race results will be posted on the website. We plan to have race series awards, scoring and possibly some surprises as well.
