Now that it’s August, there’s a lot of exciting racing and volunteer opportunities coming up. I know this email is long, but I have lots of fun information to share with you (hopefully I got all the links correct 😉 ). So please read on…
Cross Country is here!
The 2023 Cross Country season is about to start! The first race is the Old Goat 5K XC Classic in Sutton, MA to be held on August 27. Please go ahead and register yourself for this race and make sure you put GLRR as your team. Here’s the link for this race: https://runsignup.com/
Also, if you are interested in running any of the USATF-NE XC Grand Prix races with GLRR, please fill out this form to should your interest. It’s not a committment to run, just to help us keep track of teams for XC races. Again, you are responsible to register yourself for the first 4 XC races and remember to put GLRR for your team when registering. We will register you for the NE XC Championships (information for this will be sent at a later date).

USATF-NE Road Race Grand Prix
The remaining 4 races in the USATF-NE Road Race Grand Prix are quickly approaching. This Sunday is the Bobby Doyle 5 miler, and the NH 10 miler is not far behind.

Mill Cities Relay
Mark your calendars! The Mill Cities Relay will be held on Sunday, December 3rd beginning at 8am. Once again, this year, our club will pay for all the GLRR teams. Save this date and stay tuned for more info on how to run with GLRR in this fun relay! Check out https://millcitiesrelay.
Baystate Marathon Volunteering
Baystate Marathon will be held on October 15. I will be sending out an email with informaton on how sign up to volunteer at Baystate early next week.
