Hope this email finds you enjoying the end of summer.  We will meet at 7pm on Monday, August 26th for our monthly club meeting. At the end of the meeting, we are going to have slide show which will feature "THE GOOD, THE BAD and THE UGLY of Summer 2024 Running". Youth Cross Country 2024

CALLIN ALL YOUTH CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS!!!!   The youth Cross Country season is about to start. The first practice is scheduled for Great Brook in Carlisle, MA.  It is on Monday August 19th from 5:00 to 6:30PM. Volunteer for Baystate and Baystate Course Preview

Don't forget to sign up to volunteer for the 2024 Baystate Marathon and the Baystate Course Preview.   Baystate Marathon is Sunday, October 20th. The success of Baystate is directly related to you as a volunteer.  Go to this link to sign up for these critical volunteer positions.  All the volunteer spots are now available for you to sign up.  Of course, we need really need Course Monitors, but every volunteer spot is important.   The Baystate Course Preview will be on Sunday, September 29th.  We still need pacers  as well as bike "sweepers" for the course preview. We're looking for volunteers who are familiar with the Baystate course to lead runners through 16 miles of the full marathon and 6 miles of the half marathon.  Please sign up for the pace you can run.…

Sign up for Cross County and Lone Gull 10K

The final race in the USATF Road Race Grand Prix is the Lone Gull 10K to be held on Sunday, Sept 22 in Gloucester, MA (at Good Harbor Beach).  If you haven’t already, sign up to run with GLRR using the GLRR Grand Prix Request Form.  Once you check off Lone Gull 10K in the form, Glenn will send you instructions on how to register for the race.  The current GLRR roster can be found here.  Don't miss out running in this fun race with GLRR and joining in on the GLRR beach party after the race. :-)   The first race of the 2024 USATF-NE Cross Country Grand Prix is the Old Goat XC Classic to be held on Sunday, August 25 in Sutton, MA.  You should register yourself for this and other XC races (except NE Champs).…
