Week 10 - October 7th
The Workout
Well you've made it! This is the last week of fall track.
If you have been training for a marathon - we wish you the best of luck! If you've been training for road races and cross country, we hope it has been a rewarding experience and that we've helped you attain your goals.
Next up will be winter track - most likely at Lexington HS. We don't yet know their schedule, but when we do we'll post it.
Thanks for join us!
Marathoners: Downward Ladder 2000 (400 rest) all at ½ marathon pace
1600 (400 rest)
1200 (400 rest)

400 (200 rest)
Middle Distance: 5 x 1000 (400 rest) at 5k pace or faster
A light jog (as opposed to walking or standing) during the recovery interval is important because (1) it keeps the heart rate at a steady, elevated level, and (2) it helps the recovery time to stay consistent.
