2009 Mill Cities Relay

Dec 6th 8AM

Mill Cities Web Site

You can get all the race details, start time, legs, course description, etc from the Mill Cities Web Site (above).

Important!!!  Please take a couple of minutes to read the rules: http://www.millcities.com/mcrinfo.htm
[Last year - I hadn't read the rules - and there was a problem with one of our teams - so please read them - since I'm not a policeman - glenn]

There are mens, womens and coed teams in various age divisions (see the web site).  Teams are 5 runners each (except for women 50+, coed 60+ which are 3 runners and run just the last three legs).  New this year is a 70+ category (Super-Vet?) which I assume is 3 legs - doesn't matter to us though - Jon McKenzie is our only active super-vet.

The club pays all the entry fees.  All runners on the team must be members in good standing.  This race is not open to the general public.

One other important piece of information - the Mill Cities Relay is known for the great post race party where you get to meet nearly all the other runners throughout the Merrimack Valley.  The party is at the finish line at the Claddagh Pub in Lawrence.  The party will again be awesome, however due to liability concerns all runners must pay for their own beer at the pub.

If you have a full team in mind - them please click here (it's a form where you can send us all the information).

If you are looking for a team - then fill out the form below and submit it.  It will send us email with your information.  We will do our best to place every interested runner on a team.

Team Captains need to organize their team, help the members select the team name, and pick up the bib numbers, the relay baton and the race give away(s).

You can see a list of the runners and potential teams here (which we'll try to update every couple of days)..
