Runner's Pace Projector
This is MORE than a pace calculator. It is a tool to project your time and pace for a particular distance, given your time for a
known distance. It is based on the theory that if you double your distance, your race pace slows by approximately 5%.
For example, if you can race 5 miles in 40 minutes (8:00/mi) and want to project your pace/time for a 10 mile race:
Enter Known Distance = 5 miles
Enter Known Time = 40:00
Enter Projected Distance = 10 miles
Click the 'Submit' button, and the Projected Time/Pace will be calculated.
In this case, your projected 10 mile time is 1:24:00, and your pace is 8:24, 24 seconds slower than your 5 mile pace.
